CEREMONY 5PM - RECEPTION &
MERRIMENT TO FOLLOW
Our ceremony, cocktail hour & reception will take place at Bridgeport Art Center Skyline Loft. Please
arrive beginning at 5pm. The entrance is located on the north side of the building. There is ample free
parking at the venue but we suggest you take a cab so you can fully enjoy yourselves. Once you enter the
building you will be escorted into a freight elevator that will take you to the 5th floor overlooking
our beautiful Chicago skyline. Let the magic begin!
Dress code is cocktail attire.
Though parking is free and available, we recommend taking a cab. Better to party safe than party sorry!
However, if you must drive, the Bridgeport Art Center is easily located from either the Dan Ryan 90/94 Expressway, or the Stevenson I-55 Expressway.
90/94 - Take the 35th street exit. Drive West on 35th X miles and turn right at Racine. Follow Racine to the parking lot in the back of the building.
I-55 - Take Exit 290 from I-55 to S Ashland Ave. Merge onto W 31st Place and turn right onto S Ashland Ave. Take Ashland to W 35th St, turn left, and you're there!
Getting a cab in Chicago is easy, and getting around in a cab is even easier. Additionally, we’ll have taxi numbers on hand as you bid us adieu for the evening. Have a smartphone? Try UBER! It’s a super handy app for hailing yellow and black cabs around the city (yellow cabs are cheaper, but black cabs are sure a lot of fun). You simply download the app, enter your credit card information, and hail a cab through the app. No need to worry about cash, or even cash tips. It’s pretty darn cool.
Use our code UBERMNM2014 to get $20 in credit when you sign up. That's like a free cab ride!
We aren’t who we are without our incredible siblings, Robert, Katie and Emily. As we are the “babies” of our familes, they have given us infinite amounts of support through our years. We very much look forward to their very special ceremony readings on our day.
It’s big and it’s a blast. Chicago has it all. Below you’ll find some of our favorite restaurants, bars, and gems of the city.
The beauty of living in our city is that you don’t need a car to access all the sites. Transportation via train, bus, cabs or even walking will give you full access to everything.
We highly suggest using UBER for your cab needs. The app is easily downloadable via your phone and it is linked to your credit/debit account.
